Here to There - Episode 3 (Connectivity)

Here to There show

Summary: For those who ride on top of them, highways form a critical network connecting people to places and to each other. For those on top of whom they're built, highways are literal barriers that physically disconnect entire neighborhoods from essential services and surrounding communities. In this episode, we ride along with a long-haul commuter who drives from Chanhassen to St. Paul five days a week. Back in the studio, we talk with a resident of the Rondo neighborhood, St. Paul's largest African-American community that was displaced by Interstate 94 construction.
