Summary: TJ Scott is a Film and Television Director/Writer/Photographer based in Los Angeles. His recent TV work includes directing the hit series ‘Gotham’ for Fox, ‘Constantine’ for NBC, ‘Spartacus’ & ‘Black Sails’ for Starz, the critically acclaimed BBC America series ‘Copper’ & ‘Orphan Black’ (CSA Nomination for Best Director) the Netflix series ‘Hemlock Grove’ & ‘Longmire’, ‘The Transporter’ for HBO/Cinemax, ‘Motive’ for ABC, ‘The Strain’ for FX, ‘Bitten’ & ’12 Monkeys’ and the ‘Dark Matter’ pilot for for Syfy. TJ’s indie Feature Film ‘Death Valley’ which he wrote, directed, and produced has reently been released. His previous movie ‘Deadliest Sea’ was nominated for five Gemini Awards in Canada, including Best Movie and Director. TJ has also directed award winning episodes of ‘Xena’, ‘Hercules’, ‘Nikita’, and his episode of ‘Playmakers’ was listed by the American Film Institute as one of the Top 10 episodes of television of the year. As a writer, TJ’s ‘Tracers’, starring Taylor Lautner, has just completed filming and his bio pic ‘Vivaldi’ is being produced by Ron Howard and Brian Grazer. In addition, Chris Columbus has signed on to direct his script ‘The Secret Lives of Road Crews’ at Paramount. TJ has also directed his own scripts ‘Mayday’, adapted from the Nelson DeMille novel for CBS, ‘Blacktop’ for HBO, and ‘Legacy’, which opened the Las Vegas Film Festival. TJ has a life-long passion for photography. This was best realized with the highly successful 2014 release of his coffee-table book “In the Tub” - Portraits of Actors, Recording Artists, Models, all using a Bathtub as a common setting. This book is jam-packed with a veritable who’s who of celebrities from the film, television and music industries. Sales of this book resulted in raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for breast cancer awareness and TJ donates 100% of profits to this cause. His amazing eye and experience as one of industries leading directors has given him the ability to capture breathtaking images which attract tens of millions of views on the web. TJ has been published in and on the cover of dozens of magazines, captured over 250 pages of Editorial and Fashion spreads, as well as Book Covers and CD Covers for numerous Bands.
