Summary: Afrodisíaco is a group from Panama that blends folk rhythms with a contemporary sound. The Panamanian drums are at the heart of their music, specifically three rhythms: congo, bullerengue and tambor norte. I was lucky to see them perform at the Panamá Jazz Festival recently.
