Summary: To know the Korean people's history, is to know the pain of subjugation, humiliation and separation. They are one people with two identities, living in constant fear. The South Koreans live in constant fear of the North Koreans and the North Koreans live in constant fear of the United States. And given the United States' history of regime change, nation building and empire expansion, North Korea has every reason to be afraid they'll be attacked next.
