Summary: <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> In episode four of Sound Justice: A CLS Podcast, we are<br> joined by Jamie Gullen, an attorney in the Employment Unit, and SSI attorney<br> Claire Grandison, who is currently an Independence Foundation Fellow and<br> recently completed her Stoneleigh fellowship. We discuss Claire and Jamie’s<br> focus on providing holistic representation to young people, and the Youth<br> Justice Project (YJP), which Claire and Jamie launched in collaboration with<br> Jesse Krohn from Philadelphia Legal Assistance. Through the YJP, Claire and Jamie<br> are working with other advocates and organizations who serve youth to develop<br> an age-sensitive model for assisting young people with their intersecting legal<br> issues, such as barriers to employment and benefits, as they transition to<br> adulthood. We hear the stories that inspired Claire and Jamie to create the<br> YJP, and about the roles advocacy and outreach play in securing stable and<br> successful futures for youth who have experienced many obstacles.<br> <br> <br> <br>
