Summary: According to ABC.com, a Ukrainian lawmaker today said he has fresh proof (something the White House is unfamiliar with) that Paul Manafort, received illegal, off-the-books payments (The Black Ledger) from Ukraine’s pro-Russian President Viktor Yanukovych before he was literally ran out of the country. If it can be proven Mr. Manafort was dealing with Yanukovych in any capacity, the White House won't have to wait for the fire, they'll be choking on the smoke.
