Summary: Nick Jr.'s Shimmer and Shine creator and executive producer is an awesome mama! Farnaz Esnaashari-Charmatz is the showrunner for my daughter's favorite show. My reasons for having her on as a guest are purely selfish. I wanted to know how she created a popular animated series, and still manages to be a mom of 2 young kids. Animation is a world I don't know much about but am fascinated by. She tells me how she worked her way up from an internship at Nickelodeon and proved herself to be a top notch producer. She also tells me why she decided to make Shimmer and Shine so culturally diverse which something you don't see a lot of in animated shows for kids.
