This week on Chicago Beer Pass, Brad Chmielewski & Nik White kick off the show a little differently. The guys do a bit of a recap of 2016 and talk about some of their favorite events, bars and festivals. Diving into a new event every week and a new beer, it can almost seem a bit much some weeks. Still it’s nice to take a moment to look back, especially with the year coming to an end. As the guys go over their year highlights, they sip on a few cans of Milkstachio from DryHop Brewers. Since it’s Christmas this weekend Chicagoland is a bit light for events but it isn’t light on the news. Brad & Nik talk about the recent closings of Ale Syndicate & Arcade Brewery. This story was a bit of a surprise for a lot of people and there’s already a number of stories written about the closings.
