Summary: Following on from the Axtone Ten celebrations and the 1year in the life of the “Axtone Presents” series, 2016 kicks off with Axtone’s latest signing to the roster; 18 year old Klahr from Sweden. Having made his debut appearance on Axtone with his glacial rework of Adrian Lux’s ‘Torn Apart’, Klahr is set to follow swiftly with the release of ‘Lyon’ and ‘Sapphire’ – all of which are featured within his eclectic selection. With a track selection that perhaps belies the selectors age, containing the likes of, Axwell, Eric Prydz, and Chrome Sparks. The “French Touch” effect on Klahr is apparent in his featuring of Daft Punk, SebastiAn, and Oliver as some of his musical influences, while naming British duo, Honne as his curveball artist. With a plethora of edits and genre blending, listeners of ‘Axtone Presents’ can’t help but feel excited for the future of Klahr and ‘Axtone Presents’ alike.
