Star Wars: Battlefront

Super Liquid Gamer show

Summary: We are officially back! Ryu-in and Owen of Oa will be talking about none other than Star Wars: Battlefront, which has been out over a year now so it is time to give it a full review taking into account the DLC and recent announcements. If you have no idea what I am talking about here is some info on the game--which of course you can just listen to us talk about instead of reading any further, completely up to you. Star Wars Battlefront is an action shooter video game developed by EA DICE, with additional work from Criterion Games, and published by Electronic Arts. The game, based on the Star Wars franchise, is the third major release in the Star Wars: Battlefront sub-series, and is considered a reboot to the previous games, instead of a sequel. The game was released worldwide in November 2015, and received mixed reviews from critics. Critics praised the game for its gameplay, visuals and high production values but was criticized for its lack of content on both single player and multiplayer modes. Despite this, it still shipped over 13 million copies. We have been on a bit of a hiatus and a lot of things have happened since November of last year, so why do a year old game? Well a lot of that has to do with losing Carrie Fisher, the actress best known as Star Wars' Princess Leia Organa. So we would like to dedicate this episode to her and pay homage to the wonderful work she has done.
