Summary: Amy Hatkoff is an author, advocate, teacher and filmmaker. She has spent much of her career raising awareness of the needs of children and families in America and has collaborated with New Screen Concepts to produce Rob Reiner's The First Years Last Forever, a home video that addresses how parents and caregivers can foster children's emotional, social and cognitive development. She co-produced "Neglect Not the Children, an award-winning documentary that draws attention to the needs and realities of children at risk in America. Amy has authored several books including, "You Are My World, How a Parent's Love Shapes a Baby's Mind," and “The Inner World of Farm Animals, Their Amazing Social, Emotional and Intellectual Capacities.” Articles about Amy and her work have appeared in numerous newspapers and magazines.
