After several months job hunting, She chose to create her own reality and pursued the desire to be a writer. In 2010, she officially launched her business and made $689 her first year. Since then, She has learned a lot, pivoted several times and have refined her business to focus on the content needs of business owners over 40. Kris has also established the blog, Grandparents in Business, which discusses business, branding, and midlife balance. Both have further led her to offer coaching for introverts with articles and sessions on 'Social Success for Introverts: Tips and Wisdom for the Quiet Entrepreneur'. http://www.kristhescribbler.com The messages she would like to share are: You're never too old to make a dream come true. There are people waiting to hear and learn from you. What you perceive as personal weaknesses can be developed into a strength to help others (from my own discovery I built a business, blog, and coaching service.) 1. -‘breaking out of my comfort zone' as an introvert and the crazy activities I would do to prep myself for a 1-hour networking meeting. 2. - lessons learned as an 'older' entrepreneur and how my experiences led to developing my Grandparents in Business blog. 3. Outsourcing is a tough decision to make when money is tight, but finding and implementing these experts is the best decision a small business owner can make. 4. Many more! We discuss more in the interview. @ScribblerKris (Twitter & Periscope) https://www.facebook.com/groups/1696495883927556/ for Grandparents in Business Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/KristheScribbler/ for business page on Facebook https://www.linkedin.com/in/kristhescribbler ‘’The program consists of interviews with positive people and thought leaders, as well as others in the social, business and entertainment community.
