Not only was the group’s eponymous 1996 debut popular, but the group could be heard on records by such Bad Boy artists as Mase and the Notorious B.I.G firmly entrenching themselves as the poster boys for the label. The Grammy winning group has sold 16 million albums and can boast some of the most recognisable R&B songs of the last 20 years including “Only You”, “Cupid”, “It’s Over Now”, “Peaches & Cream”, “Dance with Me” and the international number 1, Puff Daddy’s – “I’ll Be Missing You”, the ode to Notorious BIG, following his death in 1997. Following a hiatus of various solo projects and tours, the four members of 112, Marvin “Slim” Scandrick, Daron Jones, Quinnes ‘’Q’’ Parker and Michael Keith, came together in 2012 for a series of reunion shows which has now seen the group continuously selling out shows all over the globe. On the tour, Michael Keith says, ‘’ the tour has been amazing and the crowd has been amazing. Everything, for lack of a better word, has been amazing. We’re taking the time to really listen to the fans and see exactly what they want. They want to keep 112 alive, so this is for the fans’’. Arena Ent and Delta Bravo are pleased to announce that 112 are returning to Australia and New Zealand this August for a series of shows taking in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and, for the first time in over ten years, Perth and Auckland. The impact and legacy of 112 is simple. They are one of the most successful male R&B groups of the late ‘90s and early 00’s and the fact that they have not released any new music, as a group, in almost a decade but continue to sell out shows all over the world is simply remarkable.
