Treble Radio 9-8-15: Interlull? What interlull?

Last Word FC Media show

Summary: Just like the Premier League, Treble Radio is back after everyone's favorite (or not so favorite) thing, the international break, commonly known as the interlull. We kick off this week congratulating Wayne Rooney on becoming England's all-time leading goal scorer and discussing the significance of that achievement. Where does Rooney rank among England all-time strikers, and where do Arslan, Laura, and Eric rate him in the current England squad? Sticking with the European Championship qualifiers we look into disastrous campaigns so far for the Netherlands and Greece, two teams which made successful World Cup runs in 2014 but have fallen far since then. We offer our congratulations to Wales, Northern Ireland, Iceland, and others who have secured or all but secured their qualification, and discuss the value of the expanded tournament. Finally, we get back to the reason we're all here: the Premier League. We preview the biggest games of the upcoming weekend, highlighting Manchester United vs Liverpool, and a top of the table (TOP OF THE TABLE!) clash between Manchester City and Crystal Palace.
