Pia Wong is a teacher education with over 20 years of experience in this field. She focuses on urban teacher preparation. Yvette Jackson is the CEO of the National Urban Alliance for Effective Education and adjunct professor at Teachers College, Columbia University. She has applied her research in neuroscience, gifted education, and the cognitive mediation theory of Dr. Reuven Feuerstein into her books.
