Todays guest on episode #10 of The Bucket List Life Podcast is no stranger to adventure.  He has chosen to live a life of traveling around the world, exciting adventure, constantly learning and following his heart. Andrew Fraser is a Youth Leader, a Public Speaker, a Teacher, a Yogi and an avid Skydiver and Wingsuit Pilot.  Kenyon met Andrew while they were skydiving a couple years ago and got to know each other very personally when Kenyon asked the question, “Tell me something not many people know about you?”.  Andrew’s response to that inquiry was genuine, authentic, enthralling and sparked a brotherly connection and understanding that is still strong today. Andrew’s life experiences are both mind boggling and horrific and as a proficient story teller he has a powerful and potent message to share about following your passion and living a life less ordinary. Highlights of their podcast conversation: 6:00    Andrew takes us back to growing up in the great outdoors of Littleton, Colorado when he was seven years old. 10:00  The question is asked: Are parents too over protective now-a-days?  Are the creative outlets of today’s children being stifled from too many rules and regulation meant to protect them? 14:45  Andrew explains, from a teachers perspective, how we are losing the creativity needed to problem solve and fostering a learned dependency on technology. 20:00  Andrew describes his quest for adventure and the incredible road less travelled that he chose to take that answers the question, “How does someone get the job of walking a Puma named Roy, for 8 hours a day?” 32:00  Andrew continues talking about his amazing travels and life adventures and tells us how he ended up in Bosnia sidestepping land mines as a renegade tourist.  He says “Just say YES to travel. Figure out the details later.” 41:00  Andrew acknowledges and tries to explain why the conventional path and way of living may not be for him. He says it’s more satisfying to chase dreams than prepare for retirement. His stories and memories are invaluable and can never be taken from him. 44:00  Andrew talks about his first hand experience as a junior in high school and dreadful recount of the Columbine School Shootings in Littleton, Colorado 1999. From this experience, he learned at the age of 17, that nothing is guaranteed in life and he emerged with a strong resolve to get living his own life fast. 53:00  The question is asked:  Are you asking the right questions to the people around you for them to really open up and share a part of themselves?  Do you really even know your friends on a deeper level?  Ask them about their passion, desire, dreams and challenges in life and you will start to see them for who they really are. 54:15  What’s on Andrew’s Bucket List? His aspirations have shifted over the years from an external adventure to more of an internal introspection.  His goals are more focused on soul searching for a way to preserve his stories for prosperity with the intent on giving back and helping others transform.
