Summary: DJ Adam12 (Adam Bravin) joins Guy and Eden this week for another episode of Decently Funny. We talk to Adam about everything from where he got his name, to what it’s like to be President Obama’s DJ. Yes, that President Obama. First, we talk all about what it means to be the president’s DJ, what kind of music he likes, and even what Bill Clinton’s favorite jam is. You’ll never guess. (Ok, maybe you will). We also learn a little bit about Adam’s upbringing with a drug dealing dad and mom who was a bookie. Then we get in to, what a DJ really does, and what does he do differently from a Skrillex. And how can he stand there for four hours and spin without having to pee. Adam is very candid about a lot of DJ’s including one very rich heiress that has a name that rhymes with Shmaris Shmilton. Later in the show we talk about Adam touring with his former dark-wave band She Wants Revenge. We ask him what dark-wave is and what it was like working with Joaquin Phoenix who directed their video.
