Summary: Dr. Aikyna Finch and Jessica Leichtweisz will be joined on the Empowering Women Series by Miriam Ezell, Coach and Author, as she discusses, "Listen to Your Heart and Take Inventory." We, as women, fall into what Coach Miriam calls, “survival” mode. We take care of family. We allow others to fill our plates. We settle. We feel guilty when we don’t do what others think we should. We take on tasks that don’t fit our abilities and gifting and wonder why we are criticized for our work. We try to do it all. We take care of everyone else and put ourselves on the back burner, then we crash and burn. We lack confidence and listen to gossip, which only leads to hurtful feelings. Because of our frustration, we get sick, we gain weight, we get depressed, we no longer take care of our physical being. We no longer feel that we add value and we are not heard. The list goes on and we spiral down into a feeling of hopelessness. You do have a choice, you can stop the craziness, take inventory and begin again creating the life that you were meant to live.
