Ru & Graylyn’s Thoughts Admittedly biased, Ru as a member often has the course described to him as Scottish golf as the visiting golfer imagined. High dunes, undulating fairways and some of the best views in Scotland creates Scottish links golf at it's very best. Similar sentiments are echoed by Graylyn who describes the routing at Cruden Bay as a variety of fun, interesting holes. Never likely to host a Major Championship or Scottish Open the links course will remain hidden for those lucky enough to find this hidden gem. Cruden Bay Golf Club 2015 Greenfees based on High Season Rates Per Round £100 Day Ticket – £135 Number of Visitors Visitor rounds have increased in reason years however remain in comparative terms small as the Club maintains a strong membership. Best Time to Play? – Availability is usually very good with member tee-times only restricting visitor play after 10am on Monday, 2.10pm Saturday and 12.30pm Sunday. Success of 2014 The staff enjoyed a busy end to 2014 noting that the Ryder Cup fever could be felt as far north as Cruden Bay. The 9 hole course is very good for those not fit for a second 18 or alternatively take the short walk to Dracula's Castle which overlooks the golf course. - Upon arrival head for the far left of the parking lot and take in that view. You will struggle for a better one. Graylyn suggests also enjoying the view but with a cold drink in the clubhouse overlooking the course below you reminiscing about your round.
