Background History  Golf dates back here as far back as 1625 and is home to the first recorded reference of a 'golf hole'. Truly Scotland's only world class Scottish links within the a city boundary, Aberdeen offers golfers a roller-coaster of golf set amongst humongous dunes crafted by nature. Within that lies the front 9 holes, acclaimed by many as the finest collective 9 holes of links golf anywhere in the world. Only last year it hosted the Scottish Open with Justin Rose the eventual winner.
