587 PABL – Why I Ditched The FitBit For A Heart Rate Monitor

gspn.tv - All Inclusive - Entire Network Feed show

Summary: In this episode of Pursuing A Balanced Life, I share why I have decided to ditch my fitbit for good and why I've decided to fully embrace a heart rate monitor instead. There is one thing that I feel that is important to point out. In the episode, I suggested that the book stated that even the strength training workouts should be areobic focused. However, looking at my notes, the book states that rule 1 is to commit to working out six days a week, every week, for the rest of your life. Rule 2 actually states that you should "do serious aerobic exercise four days a week for the rest of your life." So the stregnth training days are not necessarily focused on being serious aeorobic exercise. So, just to be clear, the commitmetn is to work out six days a week and four of those six days should consist of serious aerobic workouts.
