He is a winner of the Foreign Press Association's Young Journalist of the Year award, and was short listed for the Orwell Prize in 2006. He writes a popular weekly column on psychology, This Column Will Change Your Life, and has reported from London, Washington and New York. He holds a degree from Christ's College, Cambridge. Tina Gilbertson holds a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and is a licensed mental health counselor. In addition to working with adults one-on-one, she teaches assertiveness and self-esteem workshops and classes on goal-setting, decision-making, overcoming anxiety and finding the right career. She has written feature articles on emotional intelligence and health for Portland’s Natural Awakenings magazine. She contributes wisdom as a self-esteem expert for online therapist directory GoodTherapy.org.
