Many of the people who like the concept of single-payer health care do not like the concept of for-profit insurance companies. There are non-profit insurance co-ops out there, including <a href="http://healthrepublicinsurance.org/" target="_blank"><strong><span style="color: blue; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none;">Health Republic Insurance. </span></strong></a>Health Republic will begin signing up customers in the next round of insurance signups in the fall.
