Participation in the forums is not a job requirement for them. Devs do read the forums, and they often will respond, but they have no obligation to do so. Quite often they do so by taking time out of their personal time at lunch, after hours or during a break, so we should try not to be too hard on them when they post things we don’t like. They pretty much go off of the descriptions in the books as best they possibly can. They have members of the team who are going to Mythcon this year, a symposium for mythology fantasy writers at a local university, and they’re hosting a panel on taking the lore and world of Middle Earth and converting it into a game.
