Summary: In this episode we discuss Heather Anderson’s, experienced hiker, ultramarathoner, and record holder of the fastest self-supported Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) thru-hike (60 days, 17 hours, 12 minutes), numerous hiking endeavors she completed before her speed PCT hike, including the Continental Divide Trail, Appalachian Mountain Trail, and the PCT once prior. Heather reveals the challenges of her record-holding PCT hike, including a recount of her most difficult day and four encounters with mountain lions.
