Each reader tells a personal story based on that month’s theme, and requests a song that’s played by our band, The First Time Three.</p> <p> This piece is a story told by Dana Norris for our show First Move. Dana is the founder of the <a href="http://www.storyclubchicago.com/">Story Club</a>, a monthly storytelling show in Chicago, Boston, and Minneapolis. She is the editor-in-chief of Story Club Magazine, and she teaches at StoryStudio Chicago. She has published with <a href="http://www.mcsweeneys.net/articles/an-open-letter-to-my-boss-who-was-recently-fired">McSweeney's</a>, <a href="http://therumpus.net/author/dana-norris/">The Rumpus</a>, the <a href="http://www.ut.edu/tampareview/trmain.aspx">Tampa Review</a>,and her stories have been featured on Chicago Public Radio.
