Summary: It is my favorite non-college football time of the year, the NCAA Tournament is started folks. Love me some college baseball and after watching the selection show yesterday I figured I'd steal away from college football to talk a little baseball on you. The ACC gets a gang of hosts for the regionals, five total, only two are national seeds; Carolina and Florida State. Miami is a bit of a surprise, but compared to some of the other travesties that transpired I think them versus Kentucky to host is splitting hairs. Texas missed the tournament. The Longhorns had a rough go of it and the selection committee decided to leave them at home. Wake Forest, Virginia Tech and Maryland, out of the ACC, are staying at home too. No big deal, right? It wouldn't be, except the freaking committee put Michigan State in the field. So basically this is all about that and how ultimately ridiculous this is because it is remarkably stupid.
