Summary: Today Ben and I had the opportunity to attend the Gun Education Day at North Carolina State University which was organized by some students to allow those who do not have experience with guns to learn some gun safety, and have the opportunity to shoot a gun. The day started with a safety brief with blue guns on the NCSU campus, and followed up with a range trip on a private farm outside of town. Mrgunsngear from YouTube was at the event, and he brought out all of his toys for the shooters to play with. Hit us up on Instagram or Facebook to find some more pictures from the event. I'll be posting more pictures over the next few days as I unload them from my SD card. The News! News stories about the "Knockout Game" have been making their way around the internet. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) some of them aren't accurate, and others are downright made up. Either way, the scary thing about these situations is that just carrying a concealed handgun won't help you. If you get sucker punched and knocked out cold, your pistol doesn't do you any good. Keep your head on a swivel, and be proactive when you are put in a potentially dangerous situation. You can always cross the street, or take up a posture that doesn't make you look like a victim. When you are going out on a range trip, bring some dang guns! I left all of my fun guns and ammo at home today, not thinking that I would have time to shoot them. Guess what? I would have had plenty of time, and it would have only taken me an extra couple minutes to pack some more guns in the car.
