Summary: Walt Mossberg set the template for the modern personal technology column back in the early nineties when he switched from being a war correspondent for the Wall Street Journal to writing about tech. Since those early days Walt has continued to write for the average consumer, while at the same time becoming a new media entrepreneur, first at AllThingsD and now at Re/Code, a news and event company started alongside Kara Swisher.
