Summary: We all deal with distorted body image to some extent.  I've found that opening up to friends about it really helps as well as listening to how others I trust view me.  It all gets better over time.   We just keep working on being the best we can be; mind, body, and spirit.   What can you do about having a distorted body image? What causes someone to not see themselves as they are? What causes people to not appreciate themselves? Do we all struggle with distorted body image to some extent? What is the difference between negative motivation and positive motivation? What makes a person have sabotaging behavior? Sometimes we are our own worst critic. Will talking about how you feel help? Is it possible for you remove the emotional baggage associated with your body? You can turn this into a positive mindset that works for you.
