Dispatches from the Buckle – 050

Podcast – Tokens show

Summary: This week, with the winds of war blowing, we have been reminded of two vivid segments from previous Tokens Shows. First, from our "Wisdom of the Skeptic" show in Malibu, CA, we hear from Hal Holbrook, who quotes the closing prayer from Mark Twain's "War Prayer." Second, we hear from our friend Derek Webb, who, during our "Politics of Jesus" show, sang his fine song "A King and A Kingdom" for us. We close out with a reprise of "Light from the Lighthouse" from that night. We also announce that tickets for our annual Ryman show will go on sale at 10:00 am, 6 September. Thanks for joining us again this week. Peace, Be sure to let all your friends know about our socio-cultural experiment here. Remember, you can subscribe to Dispatches from the Buckle on ITUNES.
