Interview with Marshall Ulrich-"Mr. Tenacity"

The Natural Running Network Live show

Summary: I call him “Mr. Tenacity” because he is simply unstoppable. Marshall Ulrich is arguably the toughest endurance athlete in the world! At a ripe old age of 62 he just completed his 19 Badwater UltraMarathon across Death Valley. Tenacious I say? Who else would have his toe nails removed to liberate himself from the surety of toe nails getting in the way of his forward progress? In the fall of 2008, he attempted to break the world record for a trans-American crossing and completed a 3,063.2-mile run from San Francisco to New York in 52.5 days, equal to 117 marathons, or two marathons plus a 10K each day. The effort, which included many injuries and obstacles, was chronicled in the 2010 movie, Running America. This is a show you just don’t want to miss!
