Neil began his study of paranormal phenomena through an association with noted California parapsychologist Loyd Auerbach in 1993. After seven years of independent research in parapsychology and paranormal investigation, Neil began a two-year term as lead field investigator for the Washington State Ghost Society. Since 2004, Neil has served as a parapsychology consultant for television, film, and print media, literary and other groups, and various paranormal organizations. Neil is also a popular presenter in parapsychology at the annual Port Gamble Ghost Conference. He is a member of the international Parapsychological Association, the Rhine Research Institute, and the Seattle Consciousness Education Research Society. Neil currently teaches “Paranormal Studies,” a college-level course in the science and history of paranormal investigation, which is offered year-round at community colleges in the greater Seattle area. Neil’s course was included in Seattle Metropolitan Magazine’s top 25 “best and most sought-after” adult education classes. Neil’s work has also been featured on the front page of the Seattle Times, as well as on KING-5′s “Evening Magazine,” KOMO-4 News, KAYO FM, North County Journal, North Kitsap Herald, and the Kitsap Sun. In addition to his work in parapsychology, Neil is a certified reflexologist, Reiki practitioner, and an instructor at Seattle Reflexology Massage Center.
