Summary: The year has been moving very quickly and Spring is upon us. This mix has a bright, upbeat vibe with a lot of progressive house gems that will get you groovin and smiling. Matt Reii - Panic (Paronator Remix) / Proff - Tell - Amazing beat and bass sequencing - first time I heard Panic I thought it would make a great intro track. At the break I blended in Proff's record Tell, which sets the upbeat theme for the rest of the mix - two great progressive house records Stan Kolev - Water of Life - I just started listening to some of Stan's records and am really enjoying them. This record was a perfect fit for the mix Luiz B - Rainy Days (Teana & Tiida Remix) - A great prog house record with nice overtone soothing vocals and guitar Vitodito - Napoli (Sunn Jellie Remix) - One of my favorites of late - a really well composed vibe that creates a happy feel Michael Cassette - Crockett's Theme - Michael Cassette's Temporarity album has been getting a lot of plays on my stereo over the last couple months and this remake of Miami Vice's theme is an awesome groove Headstrong - The Truth feat Tiff Lacey (David West Progressive Remix) - One my favorite trance records in the last 5 years or so - wow, such an amazing guitar riff and perfect vocal - never get tired of this record Gareth Emery - Citadel (Super8 & Tab Remix) - a group of top producers - an amazing melody and excellent production Spooky - Belong (Sasha Involver Remix) (Prankster Edit) - an emotional soundscape with a subtle yet powerful vocal loop - really nice ambient sounds throughout and the harmonics are awesome Matt Crofford - Aphrodite - while I am almost finished with an Everything But the Girl remix and was planning on using it in this mix, it is a bit darker and didn't fit.
