Episode 49 ~ Photographic Integrity - Shutter Time With Sid and Mac | Photography Podcast

Shutter Time With Sid and Mac | Photography Podcast show

Summary:
Rearing Its Head
Once again, the question of photographic integrity has popped up in our podcast. Before we dish on this never ending, but always interesting topic, we chat about some interesting gear accessories. Metabones has cranked out an adapter that will give you an extra stop of light and a full-frame look (wider field of view). Is it worth the bucks?
It’s About Time, Mac
Ah, one of the great things about this podcast is we get to take our friendship to the next level by teasing the crap out of each other on the show. This time, I give Mac a hard time about his newest acquisition in gear. But only because he bugged me first.
Integrity … What’s The Big Deal?
There’s much to be said about photographic integrity. It’s something that always creates chatter amongst photographers, industry professionals and the general public alike. We discuss some of the more memorable situations where photographic integrity has been questioned. Whether there are contests where the winner (photographer) is stripped of the title and award, or publications create a heavy, powerful image with some creative editing, possibly retelling the story the photographer had originally sought out to tell (yeah, Economist, we’re talking to you), or even more jaw-dropping, the real story behind some images of conflict. Please join us as we chew over this topic at length. If you have some thoughts on the subject, please get in touch!
Our Interwebs Hangouts
Please check us out and even better, reach out to us! We’d love for you to join in on the discussion.
