Summary: We disciples were given a mandate by Jesus' prayer: "Thy kingdom come." Our going and doing will bring the kingdom down to earth in actual presence. When Jesus is our Lord, then we bring His kingdom wherever we go, because we belong to the King! We experienced, through our Vatican guide, the sensation of being in a bubble of protection and ease, in the midst of crowds and chaos. It seemed to illustrate the covering presence of Christ's Kingdom which protects us in ways we barely recognize.
