Summary: For the past 16 years, the US. Air Force Eagle Vision program has tirelessly supported the advancement of Earth observations -- providing invaluable support to homeland security, humanitarian aid, and natural disaster recovery efforts. In February, the U.S. Air Force Eagle Vision Team was awarded the prestigious 2010 William T. Pecora Award by the U.S. Geological Survey and NASA, which honored their outstanding contributions in the field of remote sensing and its application to understanding Earth.
