Summary: As a long time listener of the show, I have always wanted to hear more about Brad, but he has been hesitant to talk about himself. Now that I am Brad's business partner with Inner Guide Empowerment, and the cohost of our radio show, I am taking the opportunity to do what I have always wanted to hear, an exclusive interview with Brad Simkins. Brad is a licensed counselor, family therapist and personal empowerment coach with over 32 years in the field. He was a foster parent for 21 years, with three biological children, one adopted son and over 100 "Children of the Heart". Brad has started up three non-profit agencies; a therapeutic horse ranch for at risk youth, a homeless youth resource center and transition home, and an advocate program for youth with developmental disabilities. During the show, I will be digging deep and asking Brad some personal questions about his life's biggest challenges, strategies he has used to overcome some of these heart-wrenching experiences, turning points in his life, his spiritual growth, his mission, and what makes him tick! Brad Simkins has been through an incredible journey of growth, abuse, heartache, searching and discovery and has found his gifts, his passion and purpose. He has so much to share! Since meeting Brad, I have experienced some amazing shifts and continue to feel like I am being subjected to an accelerated PhD program in personal growth and development. His wisdom, experience and uncanny ability to SEE right through to a person's heart and soul while loving pointing out their non-working behaviors is truly amazing and transformational.
