Summary: At the heart of God - at the center of the gospel - is adoption, a desire to see captives set free and become part of a life-changing family. Not only did Joseph adopt Jesus, but every believer in Jesus Christ is spiritually adopted. Because we are spiritual sons and daughters through adoption, God sends His Spirit into our hearts. As adopted sons and daughters, we cry out to God, “Abba! Father!” God is giving many at Beltway Park a similar heart for adoption, calling them to actively participate in foster care and adoption or to partner with families serving in this way.
