The greatest need anyone has is for a relationship with God through Christ. Today we’ll see how God pursues us to draw us to Himself. Are you passionately following Jesus who relentlessly pursues you? I. In Christ you have all you need! (Ephesians 1:3) “seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness through the true knowledge of those who called us by His own glory and excellence.” 2 Peter 1:3 II. Understand in Christ you are…… (Ephesians 1:4-5) 1. Chosen by God. “The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9) 2. Holy and blameless today. (Ephesians 1:4) 3. Adopted for God’s glory. (Ephesians 1: 5-6) “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;” (Romans 8:29) Reflect on God’s Incredible Plan 1. God is reaching out to you! Have you asked Him to forgive your sin and lead your life? 2. Are you like the baby elephant pastor talked about? How can you change that? 3. You exist for God’s glory.
