Summary: While I was at Affiliate Summit West 2012 I was interviewed by the HotDogMan about my preference for ketchup on a hot dog. I was intrigued that this guy was just walking around the show floor with a video camera and tripod and interviewing tons of famous people as well as other show attendees right there in the middle of the convention. Some of the people he popped the question to was Bruce Clay, DK, Erick Thomas, Jim Kukral, John Chow, Jon Spoelstra, Kirk Taylor, Matthew Lesko, Missy Ward, Shawn Collins, Shoe Money, Tricia Meyer, Wade Tonkin and many others. He was having a great time and you could tell that he was very passionate about what he was doing. But I didn't know why he was there. I just had to know his story and find out what he was up to so I asked him to do an interview with me. He told me about his exciting life of running a hot dog truck business but unfortunately was unable to continue due to health issues and was forced to sell his business. He started a blog called thehotdogtruck.com where he blogged about the business and started making money from selling his information and placing affiliate links to related products and services on his website. He also created a website dedicated about how to start a hot dog business at http://www.howtostartahotdogbusiness.com. What a great idea! It is a really amazing story and he has a lot going on. I can only imagine he will get a cable tv show soon. He was very laid back and it was nice to hang out with him during the conference. He is also one lucky man and took home a sizable winning just prior to leaving the convention! What a great trip.
