Summary: Janice is one lucky duck. A few weeks ago, she had the opportunity to travel to Napa, CA for a food-lover's conference at the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone. Dietitians from all over the country flew in for the meeting, and they spent their days tasting olive oil (did you know olives are a fruit?), learning about the ingredients in mole sauce, and meeting with area foodies including fellow dietitian, Cheryl Forberg, author of the new cookbook, Cooking with Quinoa for Dummies. On this week's show, we dish about Janice's culinary adventures and share two fabulous recipes. The first is a Mediterranean-inspired dessert for Lemon Olive Oil Cake with Blueberry Compote and the second is a gluten-free quinoa guacamole. Imagine that!
