Choosing to Overcome

The Susan Sly Project show

Summary: Nearly a decade ago, Ellen Bradley Ganus lived through and overcame every parents nightmare; at just two years of age her son was diagnosed with aplastic anemia, a life threatening blood disease that nearly claimed the toddler’s life. After months of what seemed like never ending treatment, the Ganus family was able to return to a state of near normalcy.Ellen knew she must create a viable income source for her family (to pay off her newly amassed million dollar debt), one which allowed her to remain at home with her son as he recovered. It only made sense that she chose to create a platform, centered around helping others regain their health, as a vehicle to rebuild her life. This new found passion allowed her to work with not only other moms and children, but also professional athletes looking to improve their performance.
