Deep House Volume 20

Kader's Soulful/Deep/Afro House Podcast (Live Mixes) show

Summary: So here we are PodO’s… Deep House Vol. 20. There really hasn’t been anything in the soulful realm that has turned me on lately so I find myself diving into the Deep end, and those with a little more techy edge than I normally allow myself to listen to. But then again as long as the beat’s interesting, I’ll go with it, if it fits in. This one started out as what should have been my New Years Eve mix to be honest, but I wasn’t feeling it then. I used a couple of the tracks that were originally planned for this one, but they didn’t really fit anyway so I’m fine with this line up. I enjoyed mixing it down, so that’s what counts really. The mix starts off in the deep end, then progresses into the tech edge culminating with Mike Dehnert’s Grundform, a BEAST of a track, and then brings you back down gently(ish) to end on a high note with Rachel Row (AGAIN – I used the original version in my NY2K13 mix). Let's go… Tracklist: 01 – Genghis Clan - Aaaaah Sheeet! (Original Mix) 02 – Lauhaus - Hip House (Feat. Rakim) (Original Mix) 03 – Michel Cleis – Running (Gingy and Bordello Remix) 04 – Delano Smith - What I Do (Reconstructed By Mike Huckaby) 05 – NiCe7 - By Yourself (Original Mix) 06 – Groovebox - Hijos Del Sol 07 – SIS - Nunu (Original Mix) 08 – Noir - Satisfied (Original Mix) 09 – Jay Haze – 2012 (Original Mix) 10 – Reboot – Frank und Frei 11 – Mike Dehnert – Grundform 12 – Tuccillo - Password (Original Mix) 13 – Shlomi Aber - Rough Steps (Original Mix) 14 – Spoon, Tong - Muchness (KiNK Mix) 15 – Rachel Row - Follow the Step (KiNK Mix) I have to admit, I do like KiNK’s productions, raw shit. And while I’ve never really been into that sound, I’m finind myself gravitating to it more often. I must try to find some interesting soulful joints; my last one was over a year ago. And I’ve never really recovered from Afrodesiamp3 going away. Anyway, gotta keep calm and keep mixing I guess. In the mean time, the only way I know if the vibe is good, is if you let me know, so please take a few seconds and post a comment, let me know how I’m doing. Your feedback is invaluable. Stay Blessed. Much Love. Khader
