Summary: Join your host Felice Gerwitz and her guest, Dorothy Cadet. Mrs. Dorothy Cadet is the author of “Laundry Can Wait” and Examiner.com’s New Orleans stay-at-home-mom and insider deals columns. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Columbia University in New York City with an emphasis on early childhood development and African-American studies. Dorothy has honed her professional sales skills through her background as a buyer in retail and real estate property management and sales. Upon starting a family and over the course of several corporate relocations, Dorothy has discovered a love for helping women live practically and reach their maximum potential. Dorothy has devoted nearly 20 years to being a teen and youth mentor while seizing the opportunity to minister to women, specifically, over the last 10 years. Dorothy is an ordained Christian minister and elder and enjoys speaking, teaching, and training women in all environments. Through Dorothy’s role as a facilitator and speaker, she has spoken to both Christian-based and secular mom’s groups nationwide. Her book, “Laundry Can Wait” is a conversation and testament to the strength of women, and the pivotal role they play in the lives of their families. It invites all readers to experience goal-setting, relationship building, and the importance of memories and balance between the roles of woman, wife, and mother. Dorothy and her husband, James, have four children (infant to school-aged) and currently reside in New Orleans, LA. For more information, you can visit her website at: www.dacbooks.com
