Episode 28 – Darryl Merpaw ‘dcast – interview with Canadian independant film-maker

Robocop Vs. The Nazis - Canadian Film and arts podcast show

Summary: Hey gang, this interview has been sitting on the shelf for a few extra months due mostly to the tragic loss of our friend and co-host Nathan Brown. We recorded this only a few weeks before his death and if I'm being honest with you and myself, I just didn't have the nuggets to go into the editing cave to face listening to his voice for several hours. Ryan and I have have decided to release this as well as continue recording the show and find a new groove so, there's more to come. About the episode Darryl's been working on an ambitious horror anthology that I've watched a few scenes from and it's clear this is going to be great (please acknowledge how bold it is to publish a prediction on this medium). Anyhoo, as well as talking about Darryl's upcoming work, we discuss independent film-making in general. I feel like we could have spent hours continuing the conversation about this weird and interesting sub-culture we've become a part of. Enjoy!
