Summary: God has promised, but is He trustworthy to back up His promises? Many today, even within the realm of Christianity, question whether He is. But, as it proclaims in Numbers 23:19, “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” The Promises of God, which are replete throughout Scripture, do not come to us, but rather, we must come to them, and “obtain” them. There is a Promised Land (known as real Christianity) flowing with the Milk and Honey of God’s Goodness, but it is only those who believe their God that will find it.
