Summary: University of Washington alumnus Lull Mengesha will share his views on the System of White Supremacy. Lull Mengesha authored The Only Black Student, a world-class memoir on being encompassed by White people for the duration of his collegiate experience. We will ask Mr. Mengesha how this experience impacted his understanding of Racism and his perceptions of White people. We will also inquire about about his contact with other non-white students. Did he experience more healthful, constructive relationships with them because of their minuscule numbers? We hope to find out.
