This month we pulled out all the stops and it is with great pleasure i welcome Dj / Producer Mind Electric a.k.a Kristian Jackson to the show. I have been trying hard to lock Kristian in to make us a exclusive guest mix but with his very busy lifestyle its not been possible , until now!!!! I personally am a big fan of Kristian's music ethic, and always love hearing him playing live showcasing his many talents behind the decks. As you can read on, you will see why Kristian is being recognized globally across the dance music world, a regular at all major dance festivals in OZ and a true dedicated producer, he already has a very impressive Discography to his name which doesn't look like will be slowing down any time soon and hot off the press i can reveal his new upcoming singles are : The Cut & Mind Electric feat Mr Fluff - LOUDER and also a banging collaboration; Demark & Manna & Mind Electric feat Max C - WILD OUT !!!!! It is safe to say that 2010 has been explosive so far for Mind Electric with his productions receiving massive international support and his DJ sets doing serious damage in clubs around Australia. Kristian Jackson, the mastermind behind Mind Electric, was discovered by the Vicious Label directors John Course and Andy Van (Vandalism, Madison Avenue) after his 3 year stint in Europe, where he rocked clubs in Hamburg (Germany) and Stockholm (Sweden). He first made his mark in 2006 with his debut single Dirty Cash followed by many huge club hits such as Electrify and Infinity. His single Rock da house made it into Laidback Luke’s top 10 and his collaboration with 'The Cut' on Sweat sat firmly in the Beatport Electro House top 20 for months. His recent single 3am Eternal made HISTORY as Mind Electric became the first ever artist to receive full permission from ‘The KLF’ band members to pay tribute to their epic club anthem. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLidGEssJgw Mind Electric’s remixes (Approaching 40) have played a vital part of his success with his standout mixes of 'To the Beat of the Drum’ (Tribal Kings), ‘Right in the Night’ (Sgt Slick) and 'She Got it' (Vandalism & Angger Dimas) etc getting hammered by the likes of superstars Kaskade, Laidback Luke and Chris Lake in clubs worldwide and to festival crowds of 80,000+ ...check this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlrzeUSbuUo . His 'in demand' remixes have recently seen him pump out mixes for Gina Star, Ian Carey, Static Revenger & Luciana, with requests coming in from Chris Lake and Stonebridge. Not only has his productions been off the Richter but his DJ sets have been on fire too, using a large arsenal of his own productions & countless private bootlegs giving him a sound he can truly claim as his own. He is regularly welcomed behind the decks of some of Australia's best clubs including a monthly residencies 'The Rouge (Moulin)' in Sydney, and ‘Limelite’ in Perth. Last summer saw Mind Electric playing at almost every major dance festival on the west coast along with gigs in Malaysia and NZ this year too. With further releases and collaborations with Vocalists such as Terri B & Max C on the way expect to see the Mind Electric brand plastered around clubland for months to come.
