269 New Social Media Strategy And My New Sony MDR-7506 Headphones

The Cliff Ravenscraft Show - Mindset Answer Man show

Summary: Sony MDR-7506 Headphones For the past several years, I had been using Bose AE2 style headphones. When I was in NYC for BlogWorld & New Media Expo, I visited the SiriusXM studios. While in the studio, I noticed that they only used Sony MDR-7506 headphones. I was so pleased with the sound quality that I decided to order myself a pair so that I could compare them, side by side, with my Bose Headphones. In this episode, I share my full thoughts on why I'm switching over to these new headphones. I'm Coming To Dallas/Fort Worth I'm so excited to announce that I am going to be speaking at the Catholic New Media Conference. The conference is going to be held in the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas area on August 29th-31st. I'm very honored to be the Keynote speaker that will open up the event on the 29th. I'll be talking about "How To Market Your Message To The World." If you are in the area, or willing to travel there, I would love to meet you in Dallas next month. I'll be there for the whole conference. Deadline For New Media Expo Speaker Submissions The speaker submission deadline for the New Media Expo conference is July 3st. If you are a podcaster and have any interest in speaking on the Podcasting Track in Las Vegas, coming up in January, the please be sure to click here to submit your session before the end of the day on July 31st. I'll be reviewing all submissions during the 2nd week of August. Please feel free to submit more than one session. Social Media Update In this week's Social Media Update, Erik Fisher and I discuss some recent changes as they relate to LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook, and how all these services integrate with each other. I also share why I made the decision to turn off any automatic cross posting connections between these accounts. Also, you'll learn both why I am no longer using services like Buffer App, HootSuite, etc and the posting strategy that I have been using to gain a great deal more engagement with my community. Podcast Artwork for $175 Most podcasters do not invest enough into the artwork for their podcast. The truth is that your podcast artwork is often what sets the 1st impression for your podcast. This is especially true when it comes to those who find your show in a podcast directory. I've been working with Jenny Hamson for several years and she does all my podcast artwork. I've also personally contracted her to do the artwork for all of my coaching and consulting clients. In all the years that I have worked with Jenny, she's never failed to provide artwork that not only meets expectations but delivers far more than could have been anticipated. If you are looking for artwork, please contact Jenny Hamson today and tell her that Cliff sent you! I Appreciate Your iTunes Reviews! I started Podcast Answer Man in December of 2006. Would you believe that until April 2012, I never spent much energy to ask anyone to provide a rating and/or review for this show in iTunes? If you have ever read my blog post about how iTunes podcast ratings work, then you know just how valuable leaving a 5 star rating and/or a written review can be to a content producer. I am so incredibly thankful to those who have recently gone into my listing in iTunes to provide a five start rating and a written review of Podcast Answer Man. Here are the iTunes reviews that have been posted from 5/26/2012 through 6/21/2012. If you find that the Podcast Answer Man podcast has been valuable to you, would you consider rating and reviewing it in iTunes? If so, please click here. The Podcast Mastermind One of the reasons that I love working with podcasters so much is due to the fact that they are influencing someone every single time they produce a podcast episode. The world needs great leaders! I believe that podcasters who take their leadership position seriously can make a positive difference in the lives of others.
